Many of the other nervous system-focused programs available are either not specific to anxiety or they lack the comprehensive curriculum that Becoming Free From Anxiety provides in addressing both the cognitive (mind) AND somatic (body) aspects of anxiety. Becoming Free From Anxiety incorporates a wide range of modalities for navigating anxiety, including but not limited to: the brilliant work of Dr. Peter Levine’s Somatic Experiencing Therapy, Stephen Porges’ Polyvagal Theory, Irene Lyon (Nervous System & Trauma Expert), Dr. Russ Harris (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and Dr. Richard Schwartz (Internal Family Systems Therapy).     As soon as you enroll, the first module will be available to you. From there, a new module is released every 2 weeks to help pace you.
  • How is the program laid out?
    There are a total of 8 modules in the program. Each module consists of theory/educational videos, guided (audio) exercises and journaling exercises.
  • How much time can I expect to put into this program?
    This program has been designed to be completed over the course of 16-weeks, with a new module being released every 2 weeks. You can expect to devote 2-3 hours to each module. With that said, you can take as much time as you need. You have lifetime access, so if it takes you longer than 2 weeks to complete each module, that is absolutely okay. It’s important to work at a pace that makes sense for you. Also, it’s important to understand that the teachings in this program are meant to be implemented and integrated into your life on a daily basis. Think of it like exercise or eating a well-rounded diet - these practices need to be engaged in consistently. This program is the same - nervous system work is a lifestyle, not a 16-week program. The work is meant to continue, even after the program ends.
  • Is this program the only thing I need to heal my anxiety?
    Everyone is unique, so it’s not possible to give a definitive answer to this question. For some people, with dedication and consistent application of the teachings in the course, it can be enough.
